Dimensions: Lovely Victorian Home

Today is the last day in 2015.
A year has passed and a new year is coming.
So, this is my last work in 2015, a beautiful piece from Dimensions, it called Lovely Victorian Home.
I spend a lot of time to make a beautiful frame. Yes, this frame is fully hand-made and I'm so pleased with the final result.

Joan Elliott: Swirling Peacock

Did I ever tell you that I love birds?
Well, peacock is one of many birds that I loved very much! A male or female peacock, I love both!
A male peacock more often used as cross stitch object than female peacock, maybe because the male has a long and beautiful tail feathers. However, sometimes I've seen them displayed together, of course the male is more dominant, shows his beautiful tails.
Okay, enough with the story of peacock. Let's see what I've got ^_^

This is Swirling Peacock, designed by very talented designer Joan Elliott. I stitched on 14 count gliter hand dyed fabric, dyed by my friend. I changed the colour of the moon, the original colour is Kreinik #4 3232 Brazilianite and I replaced with Kreinik #4 9294 Periwinkle.

Close up of the moon....

Look at the sparkle of his tail!

Finally after framed....

My 1st SAL: Lizzie Kate Green Flip

In 2013 I decided to follow the SAL with my stitching friends. It is for seven months from January until July. It's really pleasant moment and I really enjoy the process ^_^
Can you imagine tens of stitcher working on the same project even though they are in different places? How interesting, isn't?
The first SAL theme is Green Flip from Lizzie Kate. A lovely pattern. So easy to stitch and really quick to finish but never loses its charm, lol. Lizzie Kate designs always a simple pattern with beautiful and inspiring words. "Be well, live peaceably with the Earth", see? It's beautiful words.
A Lizzie Kate Green Flip designs divided into six parts, so every month we have to finish one part and so on until finished in the seventh month.

And this is mine...

Flower of Friendship

Well, I'm quite busy lately with all daily activities, I barely had time to write on the blog. I was busy stitching too, trying to finish some projects, most are gifts for friends.
Today is a day before Chinesse New Year, so I have to finish cleaning the house today because tomorrow is a new year. Tomorrow will be a great day.
However, I succeed finishing my two projects. One of them is a Valentine gift for my friend ^_^
This is it...
